In order to correct this unwelcomed behavior issue, you’ll want to immediately and firmly interrupt their excavation and take them to a place — another part of the yard or back inside — where they cannot continue digging.
Chewing
Puppies love chewing on objects to soothe their growing teeth and some dogs hold onto this trait into adulthood. Most dogs also show this behavior trait because they are bored, frustrated, or anxious and chewing is simply a way to pass the time. To prevent your pup from chewing on your belongings, get them approved chew toys that they are allowed to chew on.
